Contract Terms and Conditions
All services purchased from Disco Barre must be preceded by the client acknowledging, by way of completing a PAR-Q form, that he/she has no physical limitations preventing him/her from participation. All clients under 18 must have written consent from a parent or Guardian. Although Disco Barre will accept clients as young as 16. The client must abide by the rules of the studio and acknowledge that these rules and regulations may change from time to time. Furthermore, all clients release Disco Barre of all liability regarding 1. any injury to self or 2. any loss or damage to personal property.
Registration & Purchase
To register or purchase from the Disco Barre online booking system, you must be over 18 years of age. You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Classes - 48 hours notice is required for cancellation of single classes. Missed classes without the appropriate notice will be charged as if attended.
Medical cancellations - Cancellation is permitted where a client is not able to participate in a single session for medical reasons. A doctor's note conferring that the client was not permitted to participate is required within 7 days of missed class and upon receipt, a credit for a make up class will be issued.
Disco Barre respects your privacy and pledges to maintain the confidentiality of your personal information. All personal information you share with us is maintained in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (2000). References to Disco Barre may include its affiliates, depending on the context.
Legal Obligation of Information Release
Disco Barre will release any information that is required to be released by law or court order. In exceptional circumstances it may be necessary that we disclose your personally identifiable information if we believe, in good faith, that disclosure is otherwise necessary or advisable to protect Disco Barre's interests. We will seek to ensure that any proposed disclosure is required in the circumstances and then ensure that we disclose only the information that is required.
Use of Your Information
Disco Barre obtains most of our information through the signing of waivers and PAR-Q forms. With your consent we may also obtain personal information about you from third parties. This may include parents, guardians, coaches etc or whoever is registering you on a programme and paying for your registration. Use of your personal information for any purpose other than those outlined or the release of such information by parties outside Disco Barre or it's affiliates will take place only under the following circumstances: a. when you give consent. Under no circumstances do we sell participant personal information to others. Please note that we will not share health information that may have been provided in connection with a class, class withdrawal or request for a refund. With your consent, we may use certain information to provide you with information about Disco Barre and its affiliates and classes. This consent is optional and you can decide to withdraw it at any time. Information collected by Disco Barre about its users is used internally for the following reasons: To process payment, register you in the class of your choice, update you when required of any possible changes of the planned services at Disco Barre, determination of those areas, features and services that are valued the most and found most helpful. Also, we collect information to determine the appropriate participation in the activities and services provided at Disco Barre and on our site.
